A Heartfelt Hello from the Founder

Hi, I’m Prachi, the proud founder of Lajjaa Clothing, which came into existence on May 26, 2023. Lajjaa was born as a beacon of hope during one of the most challenging times in my life. As a corporate employee, the thought of starting my own business felt overwhelming—balancing two worlds, venturing into the unknown, and navigating without a background or prior knowledge in business was daunting.

But in the midst of my doubts, my mother and sister became my pillars of strength. It was my mother’s nurturing instinct that sowed the seed of Lajjaa, as she couldn’t bear to see her daughter struggle and stepped forward with unconditional love and encouragement. With their unwavering support, they turned my fears into courage, and from that foundation of hope, Lajjaa Clothing was born.

From a young age, I’ve been passionate about Indian handicraft. My training and love for this craft, combined with my dream of creating something truly my own, led me to take this leap. Lajjaa Clothing is not just a brand; it’s a reflection of my heart and soul, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich traditions of Indian artistry.

With a focus on handmade Chikankari and Banarasi products, my mission is to bring you the finest Indian handicraft pieces while keeping the essence of our heritage alive. Lajjaa is a labor of love, and it’s my goal to make it a name synonymous with India’s finest Chikankari and Banarasi creations.
